A Day Tetebatu Jungle trek and adventure to the heart of a rain forest, the Mayung Polak waterfall is frequently obscured by morning and afternoon fog. The beautiful Mayung Polak waterfall is tucked away in the Timbanuh forest, in the Mount Rinjani National Park.
Standing at a majestic 35 meters, this extraordinary natural creation serves as the picturesque southern decorator of Mount Rinjani, providing breathtaking views and a tranquil setting.
Mount Rinjani is the source of the Mayung Polak waterfall. The water’s icy coolness is certainly a welcome surprise.
Hikers new to the sport or with a reasonable amount of fitness should find the moderately difficult trek leading to the waterfall to be an adequate challenge.
Tetebatu Jungle Trip Itinerary:
7.30–8.00: Pick up at a hotel in Tetebatu or elsewhere and transfer to the village of Banok on the boundary of Mount Rinjani National Park
8.30–9.00: Begin your journey into the Rinjani Mountains National Park area. After about 30 minutes, you will find the Black Monkey residence. For a 1.5-hour relaxing trip, continue the journey towards the Mayung Polak waterfall.
10.30–13.00: A cool and peaceful atmosphere greets you as you arrive at the waterfall. The next break time for swimming, lunch, and rest.
13.00–13.30: Make your way back to the village of Banok, which is approximately an hour’s walk away. Once you reach Banok village, the vehicle will transport you back to your hotel.
15.00–15.30: Arrival at the hotel in Tetebatu and completion of the trip.
